Research Interests

My research combines a theoretical understanding of legal evidence and proof with the study of the implications of globalisation for corporate and financial law. Specifically, I assess the import of religious, non-state, subaltern, customary, and non-Western perspectives on corporate governance, financial markets, corporate securities, banking risk, and credit risk assessment. Comparative research on Sino-American and Sino-African rules, principles, practices and standards also form an important component of my research agenda.
